To travel from Miami to Guadeloupe: Daily flights with Air France and American Airlines.

To travel from other Caribbean islands to Guadeloupe: Air Caraïbes, Liat, Air Antilles Express.

This winter Air Caraibes is flying to Coppenhagen and Stockholm

On the island:

In Guadeloupe the only public transport means are taxis and busses.

Bus schedules and destinations revolve around the needs of the population. There is a high frequency in the early morning and evening to go and return from work. During the day it can be more difficult. Tourist destinations inland are poorly or not served.

Hitch-hiking works relatively well.

Your skin, being fragile, won't support the tropical sun for long periods of time. We suggest that you hire a car for part or all of vacation.
